Jon
Slason currently
is a transportation engineer and economist working in Resource
Systems Group’s Burlington office. Jon graduated from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with dual degrees in Civil
Engineering and Economics. He is involved in traffic operational
analysis, traffic engineering, roadway and intersection design,
and GIS applications. Jon has also worked with organizations,
municipalities, and states to assess the impacts of development
and land use changes while encouraging growth and economic stability.
Transportation funding and innovative financing mechanisms are
particular areas of interest. When he isn't at the office you
can find him in the hills of Burlington and Vermont. |

Evan
Detrick
Vice

Evan
Detrick is DuBois & King’s Transportation
Department Manager. He is responsible for supervision and direction
of project assignments, including hands-on administration and
technical supervision of staff; quality control and design reviews;
project scheduling and budgeting; coordination with other departments;
professional partnering; and client relations.
Evan’s
varied project experience includes development of 4-lane limited
access highways and arterial roadways on new alignments, widening
and rehabilitation of existing roadways, bridge construction
and replacement projects, environmental assessments in accordance
with NEPA, recreational trails, the addition of bikeways on
existing roadways, traffic signal and intersection improvements. |

Jenny
D. Austin
Secretary
& Treasurer |
Jenny
Austin, P.E. is a Project Engineer for DuBois &
King in their Civil Works Division. Jenny works on a variety
of transportation projects including, but not limited to, traffic
studies, roadway and intersection improvements, and pedestrian
and bicycle facilities. These range from planning studies to
design phases. Jenny is also familiar with GIS and has developed
numerous maps incorporating GIS data, and has assisted with
permitting by preparing a number of Categorical Exclusion documents.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys scrapbooking, kayaking, hiking,
and spending time with her family and two dogs.
