The Section established its own website at NEITE.org in the winter of 2000-2001. Prior to that time, TEPP LLC maintained a site on its server. Kim Hazarvartian provided the initial content and Sudhir Murthy led the charge to set up a new domain. Andrea Downs Quenneville volunteered to serve as Web Coordinator and transitioned the website from very basic information to the currently functioning site. Currently, the website is under going renovations by the University of Massachusetts Amherst Student Chapter of ITE. Traffic continues to grow each month as more features are added for member convenience. Unless otherwise noted, all photos were taken by Ms. Quenneville.
If you encounter problems viewing the site, please contact the Web Coordinator or Samuel Gregorio. At the moment (12/1/2010) there are some text issues with the new website which are in the process of being fixed. Include a URL, if applicable, and a description of the problem.
Do you have:
All of these could be included on the NEITE website!
All information should be submitted to the NEITE via email at sgregorio@tecmass.com. If you need to use snail mail, please contact us using that email address and we will make arrangements.
For photos, include a caption giving the location and approximate date of the photo, as well as the photographer. Please do not send copyrighted photos. JPEG format is preferred, but other file formats are okay. When in doubt, contact us.
If you have files over 1 MB that you would like included on the website, contact us before you send them. Zip format is much easier to handle and we'd appreciate advance notice.
We retain the right to reject any material due to web space constraints. Material may be edited for clarity. Advertisements and job openings are currently not included on NEITE.org, but are published in the quarterly newsletter, The Chronicle. For advertising information, please contact Bill McNamara.
This website is maintained by volunteers; therefore, it may take several days for an item to be posted. Please allow as much leadtime as possible for events.
Submissions will be reviewed by the Section leadership as necessary.
