President's Message

Dear ITE members and all those interested in the transportation field:

On behalf of the Massachusetts Chapter of ITE, I want to thank you for checking out our website. We host and co-host a variety of events throughout the year, from walking and bicycle tours of transportation infrastructure to socials at a Red Sox game or bar to our big annual meeting held each September. We partner with other traffic and transportation professional groups to reach out to as many of our peers as we can and gain interest in all groups! Our current officers include Andrew Fabiszewski and Jason Roose of HSH as web and social media coordinators; Doug Halpert, EIT of GPI and Angela Kristiansen, PE of BTD as board directors; Jane Davis, PE of Nitsch Engineering as secretary; Matt Starkey, PE of McMahon Associates as treasurer; Jeff Bandini, PE, PTOE of Nitsch Engineering as vice president; and Ken Cram, PE of Bayside Engineering as immediate past president. We are excited to have an expanded board this year and all are always welcome to attend our monthly meetings, held on the first Wednesday of each month at MassDOT Headquarters, or attend our events throughout the year. Please browse the website as it contains useful information on upcoming MAITE events and meetings. Membership renewal information will be e-mailed out in December. If you would like to become involved in the Chapter business or just have some suggestions, e-mail us at massitechapter@gmail.com or reach out to one of the officers.

Hans Kuebler, EIT
MAITE President
