FHWA published the Highway Design Handbook for Older Drivers.  The handbook identifies recommendations to enhance safety for all drivers in work zones, especially older drivers.  MassSAFE, in conjunction with the Governors Highway Safety Bureau will be demonstrating and evaluating these measures on a work zone in Massachusetts.  The presentation will give details about how research will be conducted, the measures of evaluation that will be used and the desired outcomes of the research.
