| In today’s society, the demands on people are more then ever. This is evident on college campuses, where students in vehicles and on foot race around at a feverish pace. One in seven vehicle crash fatalities in the U.S. involve a pedestrian. 6,000 pedestrians are killed in crashes in the U.S. every year and another 90,000 are injured. Pedestrian planning is critical. Solutions exist that when implemented will improve the quality of life on campus. |
