		<td>Road pricing has received increasing attention in recent years, primarily due to congestion, ITS, and financing considerations.  
		This paper discusses travel demand management, marginal-cost 
		pricing, and the impacts of road pricing measures and strategies.
		  It also explores the state of urban road pricing in Malaysia 
		  and explains how some of the Government's development 
		  policies--primarily that of promoting the national car 
		  industry--have led to severe congestion and growing auto 
		  dependence in Kuala Lumpur.
