Past Events

This years Annual Meeting was held in April 2006 at the Sheraton Hotel in Hartford. Check out our Awards Page to see the recipients of this years awards! James Boice and Eugene Colonese of the Connecticut Department of Transportation spoke on the topic of Rail Operations In Connecticut

April 2006 Annual Meeting

During 2006, ITE held a meeting at the new Convention Center. The Speaker for this event was the Connecticut State Police to discuss Truck Safety.

2006 Convention Center Tour

The Connecticut Chapter of ITE held its winter meeting as a joint Connecticut ITE/CTI meeting at the UConn campus. The schedule included a presentation about fuel cell technologies and a tour of the UConn Global Fuel Cell Center

October 2006 Fall Meeting

The joint ITS-CT/ITE Connecticut was held on January 29 and 30, 2007. in Berlin and Newington, Connecticut. A Traffic Analysis Tools Workshop was held at the DOT in Newington, Connecticut, with Grant Zammit of the FHWA Resource Center presenting. In addition, a Product Presentation and Workshop Demonstration was held at the Hawthorne Inn and Restaurant in Berlin, Connecticut.

January 2007—Winter Meeting

On October 16, 2007, the Connecticut Chapter hosted a meeting at Anthony’s Ocean View, in New Haven. The topic of the meeting was Transit Oriented Developments.
