Hello and welcome to the website of the Connecticut Chapter of ITE.  The intent of this new site is to provide members with up to date information about the chapter and upcoming events, and the status of the chapter.  We have been posting Connecticut area jobs—click the link on the left to learn more.

 December 1, 2006 ITE New England Board Meeting

 

October 5, 2005 CT Chapter  Meeting:

 

A joint meeting with the UCONN Connecticut Transportation Institute was held on campus in Storrs, CT.  The dinner meeting was attended by 55 people and included a presentation on Fuel Cells and Transportation Applications, and included a tour of the labs at the UCONN Global Fuel Cell Center.  This was the first joint meeting of CT ITE Chapter and CTI, and we look forward to future meetings.

 

CT Chapter Website:

 

The first employment advertising was posted on the website in November.

 

Membership:

 

The Chapter currently has 127 paid members.  Annual Dues are $10.00.

 

Financials:

 

The current checkbook balance is approximately $2,900.

 

Joint NEITE/CT Chapter Annual Meeting:

 

A date of Tuesday March 20, 2007 is currently scheduled for the joint meeting.  The CT Chapter officers plan to coordinate program events with Kien Ho, NEITE Program Committee.

 

Joint CT ITS/CT ITE Meeting:

 

The CT ITS is taking the lead in programming the following Traffic Software Seminars.
